From San Antonio, TX, Chris Mata has been performing stand up
comedy for over 10 years. He just filmed the upcoming season of
Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen and also kicked off the successful
2008 SACS comedy series at Michigan Tech University with a filled
500 in attendance. He has also performed for our armed forces
overseas several times in South Korea as well as Japan.
Chris has
appeared on Comedy Central, Comedy Central On Demand, Fox News:
Red Eye, Loco Comedy Jam, Latino Laugh Festival, was a finalist
in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and performs
at clubs and colleges around the country.
Currently
residing in New York City, Chris has performed at some of the
more famous comedy clubs in the country with some of the most
famous comedians of today such as Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld and
Dave Chappelle. He also contributes to comedy websites such as
Punchline Magazine, Stage Time Magazine (inspired “Best
Laugh of the Week”), 236.com and DailyComedy.
He’s
considered both a comic’s comic and a crowd pleaser. His
biting sarcasm, inescapable subtlety and dobonair charm are what
separate him from the pack and makes his show a must see.
