Jorge Jimenez
is one of the most likable and rising stand-up comedy stars
from the state of Texas. He features regularly in comedy clubs
throughout the country, and has appeared on several comedy
tours including “Que Locos,” “Loco Comedy
Jam,” and “The Three Amigos”. He headlines
his own “My Own Worst Enemy” tour which raises
money for high school programs.
The second
of three boys, Jorge was born and raised in El Paso by both
his parents. In high school, he competed in a stand-up competition
and placed second convincing him that comedy was his future.
Jorge appeals
to his audiences by addressing a wide variety of areas. Aside
from talking about his Latino upbringing and its relation to
other races, he has a unique opinion on relationships between
men and women in his act. Not limiting his talents to just
doing stand-up, he has done emcee work, and lends his personality
to radio shows as well. He is determined to make acting his
next priority in the performance world.
